Join West Hawai’i Mediation Center as we honor Dr. Claren Kealoha-Beaudet as our 2023 Community Peacebuilder of the Year. Dr. Kealoha-Beaudet is the Founder and CEO of Kipuka o ke Ola; Hawaii’s first Independent Rural Health Clinic. They are focused on providing cultural, spiritual, medical, and psychological services to all North Hawai’i residents, with a special emphasis on the Kānaka Maoli. You can learn more about their work at https://www.kipukaokeola.com.
Each year, WHMC honors a local Peacebuilder who helps build a healthy community that increases justice, strengthens community relationships, and implements positive change. We’re excited to highlight the work that Dr. Claren gives to our community. Come learn more about the work of West Hawai’i Mediation Center, connect with old and new like-minded friends, and enjoy this Pau Hana Celebration.
Tickets are $50.00 and will include one beverage and pupus. A variety of other drinks and Happy Hour menu items will be available for purchase. Every ticket purchased includes a $20 tax deductible donation to WHMC. Donations like this support our ability to create spaces to resolve conflict in our community.
